Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: 15 October 2026
This page explains how to delete the personal data Aasaanop Technologies Private Limited ("Aasaanop") holds about you, including data received through WhatsApp. It is part of our Privacy Policy (aasaanop.com/privacy).
1. Delete your Aasaanop account and data
- In the app: open the Aasaanop app, go to Profile → Delete Account, and confirm.
- By email: write to grievance@aasaanop.com with the subject "Delete my data" from your registered email address, and include your registered mobile number.
- By WhatsApp or SMS: send "Delete my data" from your registered mobile number to +91 89856 82548.
We confirm the request, delete your account and personal data within 30 days, and tell you when it is done.
2. Delete your WhatsApp data
If you messaged a hospital, clinic, lab or pharmacy on WhatsApp through Aasaanop, or received messages from the Aasaanop number:
- To stop messages, reply STOP to any message, or switch off WhatsApp messages in the app (Profile → WhatsApp messages).
- To delete your WhatsApp messages and contact details held by Aasaanop, email grievance@aasaanop.com with the subject "Delete my WhatsApp data" and the WhatsApp number you used. We delete them within 30 days.
- If Meta sends us a deletion request for you, we delete your data in the same way.
3. Facilities (hospitals, clinics, labs, pharmacies)
- Disconnect WhatsApp: in your portal open Integrations → WhatsApp → Disconnect WhatsApp. We unsubscribe from your WhatsApp Business Account at Meta and delete your access token at once, and delete your WhatsApp messages, conversations and logs 30 days later.
- Close your account: write to support@aasaanop.com. You can export your data for 60 days, after which we delete it.
4. What we may have to keep
Some records must be kept by law even after a deletion request: medical records a hospital, clinic or lab must keep, and payment, invoice and tax records (eight years). We keep only what the law requires and delete the rest.
