Terms for Delivery Partners & Companions
Effective date: 15 October 2026
These terms apply to delivery partners ("riders") and companions ("Care Sahayaks") who use the Aasaanop partner apps ("Partners").
1. Your relationship with Aasaanop
You are an independent partner, not an employee. You choose when to go online and which jobs to accept. You may also work with others. Where you are a gig or platform worker under the Code on Social Security, 2020, Aasaanop will meet the obligations that apply to it, including any contribution the Government notifies.
2. Joining
You must:
- be 18 or older;
- complete KYC (identity, address, photo and, for riders, a driving licence and vehicle details);
- give a bank account for payouts;
- keep your documents valid.
Aasaanop verifies these before approving you, and may re-verify them.
3. Doing jobs
- Riders: deliver medicines only from the pharmacy to the address in the order. Keep packages sealed and temperature-sensitive items in the cold bag. Hand them over only against the customer's OTP. Never open, sell or keep medicines.
- Companions: help the patient travel to and from the facility and move around it, with care and respect. You do not give medical advice, medicines, injections or nursing care. In an emergency, call 108 or 112 and use the SOS button.
- Contact customers only through the app's contact options. Do not save or misuse their numbers, addresses or health information.
4. Location
While you are online and on a job, the app shares your live location with the customer and Aasaanop for safety, ETAs and support. It stops when you go offline.
5. Earnings and payouts
- For each completed job, Aasaanop keeps the commission shown in the app (currently 20% of the job's fee) and credits the rest to your Aasaanop wallet automatically.
- You can request a withdrawal to your bank account; payouts are processed through Razorpay.
- Cash collected on delivery belongs to the pharmacy and must be handed over as the app shows.
- You are responsible for your own taxes. Aasaanop deducts tax at source where the law requires.
6. Conduct and safety
Follow traffic laws and wear a helmet. Never work under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Treat customers, patients and facility staff with respect. Harassment, fraud, theft or misuse of customer data leads to immediate deactivation and may be reported to the police.
7. Ratings and deactivation
Customers rate jobs. Aasaanop may pause or deactivate a Partner for low ratings, fraud, safety complaints or breaking these terms. It will tell you why and give you a chance to respond, except where safety requires immediate action. You can appeal through Support or to the Grievance Officer.
8. Insurance
Unless the app says otherwise, Aasaanop does not provide accident or health insurance. We recommend you hold your own vehicle and personal accident insurance.
9. Your data
Your KYC, location and earnings are used as described in the Privacy Policy.
