Aasaanop

Teleconsultation & Digital Prescriptions

Version 1.0 · Last updated 2026-10-22

Effective date: 15 October 2026

These terms apply when you consult a doctor through Aasaanop by chat, call or video, and to prescriptions issued through the Platform. They follow the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 issued under the National Medical Commission.

1. Your doctor

Every doctor on Aasaanop must hold a valid registration with the National Medical Commission or a State Medical Council. Their name, qualifications and registration number are shown on their profile and printed on every prescription. The doctor, not Aasaanop, is responsible for the consultation.

When you start a consultation, you consent to being consulted remotely. If you are consulting for someone else (for example a child), you confirm that you are their parent or guardian or have their consent, and the doctor may ask to speak to them.

3. What remote consultation is suitable for

It suits follow-ups, minor illnesses and advice that does not need a physical examination. The doctor decides whether a remote consultation is appropriate and may ask you to visit in person or go to hospital. Do not use it for emergencies — call 108 or 112.

4. Your information

Give the doctor complete and true information about your symptoms, history, allergies and current medicines. The doctor may rely on what you tell them.

5. Prescriptions

6. Records

The doctor and facility keep a record of the consultation, prescription and any images or reports, as the Guidelines require. You can see your prescriptions in the app. Consultations are not recorded by Aasaanop unless the doctor uses the voice note feature, which is explained to you and used only to prepare the notes.

7. Fees

The consultation fee is shown before you book. Refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
